More than 1,000 toll-free telephone numbers for airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour companies, tourist offices and other services are in “The Toll-Free Traveler.” The new 162-page book also includes travel tips, such as what to pack, and lists which airlines serve which cities. It’s available through bookstores for $8.95 or from the publisher for $9 postpaid: Pine Cone Press, 631 N. Stephanie St., No. 138, Henderson, NV 89014.
Another source, “The Phone Booklet” pamphlet, published annually for 17 years, lists fewer toll-free travel phones (432) but costs less and also adds some Internet addresses. Mail $2 per copy to Scott American Corp., Mail Station 1532, Box 88, West Redding, CT 06896-0088.
