Getting Bush Facts Right
I am a big Bush fan who attended Saturday night’s concert at the Forum.
When I opened the Calendar section of The Times and saw the review of Bush by Natalie Nichols (“Bush Is a Scream at Forum,” June 9). As I started to read, I was outraged at the way she referred to Bush or as “. . . Rossdale and whoever those three guys were behind him.” Once I read that I got really mad because as everyone should know, a band is carried by all the members. Without Parsons, Pulsford or Goodridge, Rossdale would just be a guy with a guitar.
As for the Saturday concert, Nichols says, “. . . the band seemed to play the same songs over and over.” That must be hard to discern when you don’t even know the names of the songs (Nichols calls the song “Bone Driven,” “Burn Driven”).
