* Re “Democracy Requires Media Freedom,” Commentary, June 3:
Daoud Kuttab obviously needs to be reminded that journalists can only guarantee freedom from tyranny if the journalists have integrity and credibility. It is false for him to assert that Israelis are building “illegal settlements in Palestinian territories.” Name one. Anti-Semitism and a free society are simply incompatible.
