The county’s most feared left-handed batter, Topping’s RBI totals dropped from 42 to 15 because so few coaches wanted to take a chance against her. Still, she had the county’s highest batting average (.583) for the second consecutive season. The best defensive catcher too, this is her second consecutive all-county appearance.
