The Freeway League player of the year enjoyed a great two-way season. As a pitcher, Weinberg was 11-1. But his bat also keyed the Raiders to a second league title in three seasons. Set two-season school records for homers (21) and victories (19). “He had the most power to all fields of any player I’ve had,” Coach Pat Tellers said.
