The city’s Cultural Arts Commission will present six free outdoor films this summer as part of its annual family film series.
The program, “Family Films in the Park,” will be at Arovista Park on Friday nights at 8:15 beginning July 11. Seating is on the lawn, so blankets and chairs are recommended.
Entrance and parking are free, and snacks are available.
Scheduled movies are: “Flipper,” July 11; “All Dogs Go to Heaven 2,” July 18; “Black Beauty” (1994 version), July 25; “Pete’s Dragon,” Aug. 1; “The Little Rascals,” Aug. 8; and “Balto,” Aug. 15.
All the movies are rated G except for “The Little Rascals” and “Flipper,” which have PG ratings. The films will be shown on a 12-foot outdoor screen.
Arovista Park is off Imperial Highway near Brea Boulevard.
