This past season he guided the Matadors to a 19-6 overall record and second place in the Garden Grove League. Bolsa Grande won a first-round Southern Section playoff game against Playa del Rey St. Bernard, 4-3, but was eliminated in the second round by Covina South Hills, 8-4.
