Ducks vs. Coyotes Series Update
* Tonight: Game 7, 7:30 at the Pond.
* How the series stands: The winner plays in the Western Conference semifinals. Paul Kariya scored the game-winner 7:29 into overtime, to even the series at three games each.
* What to expect tonight: Coyote Coach Don Hay is considering using former Long Beach Ice Dog Jocelyn Lemieux to replace Jeremy Roenick, who tore a ligament in his left knee in Game 6.
* What Ducks need to do to win: They must play with the same sense of desperation that drove them to a 2-0 second-period lead in Game 6. They also must keep better track of Keith Tkachuk, who leads the series with six goals.
* What Coyotes need to do to win: Look for Phoenix to revert to the tight-checking, opportunistic style that produced a 5-2 victory at the Pond in Game 5.
* Injury report: Center J.F. Jomphe (abdominal injury) is out for the Ducks. Roenick and defensemen Murray Baron (broken foot) and Norm Maciver (sprained thumb) are out for the Coyotes.
