First National Bank of Ventura reported first-quarter net income of $136,207, up 25.3% from $108,711 for the first quarter of 1996.
“This income growth reflects a trend of confidence in the improving Ventura County economy,” said Joseph D. Kreutz, president and chief executive officer.
The increase continues the momentum begun in 1995 when the bank posted record earnings.
First National Bank of Ventura has more than $45 million in assets, Kreutz said. This summer the bank will move to a larger facility it purchased at 5808 E. Telephone Road in Ventura.
