Luncheon to Pay Tribute to Abuse Prevention

Entertainers Shelley Long, Patricia Heaton and Casey Kasem will host a “Stopping the Cycle of Abuse Mother’s Day Luncheon,” Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Riviera Country Club, 1250 Capri Drive, Pacific Palisades.
Mothers and their children are invited to the event, which will honor Shirley Fredricks of the Lawrence Welk Foundation for helping create the UCLA Family Development Project.
The project provides counseling services for “at-risk” mothers.
