The Sunair Foundation, a charitable organization that raises money for children’s medical research and treatment programs, needs volunteers to work in its gift shop at Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center. * The Southern California region of American Red Cross Blood Services needs drivers to deliver blood to local hospitals from the organization’s Van Nuys office. Volunteers are needed one day a week for four hours. Deliveries are made in Red Cross vehicles. An excellent driving record is required. Training is provided. * The American Red Cross Los Angeles Chapter needs coordinators of disaster volunteers for its offices in Burbank and Santa Clarita. Call Lee Veselak with Disaster Services at (213) 739-5246.
