Golf
Lee, from Valencia High, took a two-week trip to South Korea with his family near the start of the season and fell out of the top six. It took him nine matches to get back but once he did, he shot a three-under 68 at Rio Hondo Country Club. Lee had his best round--a five-under 67 at Tijeras Creek--last Wednesday as Saddleback clinched the Orange Empire Conference title with victories over Palomar, Orange Coast and Cypress.

* Golden West, sophomore. He won the Orange Empire Conference singles and doubles title and also was selected the conference’s most valuable player.
