Richardson May Yet Emerge

Guard Pooh Richardson, who started 18 games before spraining his right ankle and being replaced by Darrick Martin, could get more minutes in the Clippers’ first-round playoff series against the Utah Jazz.
Richardson made six of 10 shots and had 15 points, four assists and two steals in Saturday night’s 125-100 season-ending loss at Seattle.
Richardson, one of only three Clippers with playoff experience, might be employed by Coach Bill Fitch to check Jazz guard John Stockton.
“Stockton is one hell of a of a basketball player,” Fitch said. “You can’t keep him from passing the ball and you can’t keep him from making assists and you can’t keep him from being a leader.”
