Geraldine Wilkins-Kasinga, above, was covering a story about a ministry serving spiritual as well as physical needs of families at an Anaheim apartment complex when she photographed a 6-year-old girl carrying home loaves of bread given out after a service. (March 3, 1996) On a rainy day, she found a student at Cypress College walking home after math class. (Oct. 10, 1996)
