Finally! The Times prints a human-interest story on something good that happens to an especially deserving young lady.
What a beautiful story on Laurie Rubin winning the Music Center Spotlight Award at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Laurie sounds like she is as wonderful a person as she has a beautiful voice.
May her dreams of becoming an opera singer be more than fulfilled.
