SuperSonic update--Troubled forward Shawn Kemp, whose tardiness has distracted the SuperSonics’ bid to win their second consecutive Western Conference title, hasn’t started six games this season because of disciplinary reasons. Kemp is averaging 18.7 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Guard Gary Payton ranks among the league leaders in scoring (21.7), assists (7.1) and steals (2.4).
