Hale-Bopp Comet
The comet passes through a part of sky I watch. It is a welcome guest through an area of space not used to its presence. When I consider all of the lives that have passed through this world since its last appearance, and that right now it graces my life, I, despite the problems which beset the world, consider myself fortunate that I live in this time to witness this comet. And once it has passed from view, I will consider how fleeting life and its beauties are.
