In the middle of a quiet neighborhood, a telegrapher’s key clicks away as the chugging of a 1902 locomotive pulling a string of freight cars echoes through the Victorian train depot. But it’s all make-believe at the Lomita Railroad Museum, the city’s prized exhibit built in 1966.
