Huntington Beach’s Scott Moser, whose discus toss of 206 feet 2 inches this season ranks in the top 20 in U.S. prep history, heads an impressive field at Saturday’s 30th Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High. Gates open at 10 a.m. Field event finals begin at 4:30 p.m., running event finals at 6.
Among other county participants are University’s Allyson Marquand in the 3,200 meters, Mission Viejo’s Ashley Bethel in the 100 high hurdles, long jump and high jump, Mater Dei’s Michael McNair in the 100 and 200 sprints and Tustin’s Dominique DeGrammont in the 110 high hurdles and 300 intermediate hurdles.
