HONORS

Chad Strickland and Jennifer Parker were chosen Cal State Northridge student-athletes of the month for March.

Strickland, a junior outside hitter for the men’s volleyball team, had 269 kills for an average of 5.98 a game, 105 digs, 42 blocks and 11 aces while hitting .396.

Parker, a senior catcher for the softball team, batted .470 in 66 at-bats, including three doubles, four home runs and 16 runs batted in. Parker leads the Big West Conference with a .436 batting average.
