Pianist’s Triumph Deserves Applause

I strongly agree with David Sadowitz’s sensitivity and respect for David Helfgott’s tremendous triumphs to overcome a devastating illness. As a society, we all need to share and support the struggle and pain that an individual faces with any kind of disability. His performances deserve to be judged beyond the merits of his musical talents. The criticism has been reactionary.
