‘Earth Day’ Benefit Set in Santa Monica

“Earth Day ’97 Earthdance!,” Alliance for Survival’s annual Earth Day celebration, will take place at the West End in Santa Monica on April 22 at 8 p.m.
Activist-author-actor Russell Means will speak; performers include rock bands Love Revival and Red Elvises. The event will also feature comedy, special guests, dancing and a “Happy Earth Day” cake-cutting ceremony.
Admission at the door is $10; proceeds benefit the Alliance for Survival peace and environmental organization.
