Richard Has Strong Words for Howe

Maurice “Rocket” Richard, former Montreal Canadien scoring star, is not impressed by the comeback of Gordie Howe.
“It’s completely ridiculous,” Richard said. “He must be crazy.
“In my mind, it was his wife Colleen’s idea,” Richard said. “She leads him by the nose and he listens to her. I don’t see how he can risk being injured for money.”
Howe, 69, said Friday he would return April 1 with Syracuse of the American Hockey League.
