Calvary Chapel to Face Santa Monica Crossroads in Final

Calvary Chapel will meet Santa Monica Crossroads in the Southern Section Division IV-A boys’ basketball finals at 6:15 p.m. Friday at the Bren Center, the section office announced Tuesday.

In other boys’ games, Mater Dei will play Etiwanda in the Division I-A final at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pond. Woodbridge will meet Villa Park in the Division II-AA final at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the Pond. Lakewood Artesia will meet Compton Dominguez winner in the Division II-A final at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Pond.

In girls’ basketball, Laguna Hills will meet Cerritos Gahr in the Division II-AA final at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at the Pyramid on the campus of Long Beach State. If Mater Dei defeats Ventura Buena tonight, the Monarchs will play the Riverside North-Crescenta Valley winner in the Division I-A final at 8 p.m. Friday at the Pyramid.

If Brea Olinda defeats La Puente Bishop Amat tonight, the Ladycats will play the Compton Dominguez-Moorpark winner in the Division II-A final at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the Pyramid. Capistrano Valley Christian will play the Covina Western Christian-Riverside Woodcrest Christian winner in the Division V-AA final at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pyramid.

Tickets for the Pond’s day session are $4.50-$8; prices for the night session range from $4.50 to $9. Tickets at the Bren Center and the Pyramid are $4-$7 each day.
