3 Students Published in National Magazine

The work of three Westminster students has been featured in the nationally distributed High School Writer.
Students Laura Kosman, Johnny Cao and Jannet Burton, from the district’s Community Day School, had poems published in the November and December issues of the magazine, which contains works of fiction, nonfiction, essays and poetry.
Teacher Sue Nettleton called the publication “highly selective and prestigious” and said that about 3,000 pieces are chosen from 30,000 submitted to the magazine each year.
“I am really proud of our students for being selected,” Nettleton said.
