Rooks Slowly Regaining Significance

Sean Rooks has gone from not playing in five of the previous seven games to making first-half appearances in three consecutive outings as Coach Del Harris attempts to jump start his reserve center.

Rooks has still played only 10 minutes in the three games, but it’s a start. It’s also a finish--with the game on the line Friday against Portland and the Trail Blazers about to bring the ball in with 1.4 seconds left in overtime, Harris sent Rooks in to replace Travis Knight for a more experienced defender on Arvydas Sabonis.
