San Clemente Hosts El Toro in Semifinal

San Clemente, which beat third-seeded El Toro, 14-11, in the Southern Section Division I quarterfinals, will host second-seeded Foothill in the semifinals at 1 p.m. Saturday at Saddleback College.
The Tritons (20-7) were the South Coast League champions. Foothill (25-2 and the defending Division I champion) beat North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake, 9-4, in the quarterfinals.
The winner will advance to the championship game Wednesday at Belmont Plaza against top-seeded Long Beach Wilson or Los Angeles Loyola.
In the Division II semifinals, top-seeded Los Alamitos (21-7) will host El Dorado (23-6), which upset fourth-seeded Costa Mesa, at noon Saturday at Long Beach State, and third-seeded Laguna Beach (22-7) will play second-seeded Servite (23-5) at 11 a.m. at Trabuco Hills High. The winners will play for the title Wednesday at Belmont Plaza.
