Santa Margarita’s Billy Newman tied a school record by scoring four touchdowns in Thursday’s 55-27 victory over Corona del Mar. Newman, a senior, has set or tied 17 school records, with the playoffs ahead. “I won’t say he’s the best because we’ve had many great kids here,” Coach Jim Hartigan said. “But he ranks with the highest.”
