In other men’s soccer:

Golden West 2, Cypress 2--Jose Canseco scored the tying goal for Golden West (4-13-2, 3-7-1). Teammate Abraham Guzman had a first-half goal for the Rustlers.

Nolan Berentis and Ronald Weber scored for Cypress (2-13-1, 1-8-1).

Riverside 2, Fullerton 1--Fullerton gave Riverside a 1-0 lead, scoring an own goal early in the first half.

Jose Salazar scored the game-winner for Riverside (11-8-3, 6-3-1) with a minute left in the half. Marc Rodieck scored the only goal for Fullerton (9-9-1, 5-5-1) in the second half.

In Orange Empire Conference women’s soccer:

Cypress 7, Golden West 0--Vedda Desatoff and Erin Wright each scored two goals for the host Chargers (14-0-1, 8-0-1) in the victory.

Irvine Valley 1, Rancho Santiago 0--Katie Flynn scored the winning goal five minutes into the second half for Irvine Valley.

Orange Coast 5, Fullerton 1--Former Ocean View standout Jessica Funke scored a two first-half goals for Orange Coast (14-2-3, 7-1-1).

Shannon Donegan assisted on both of Funke’s goals, the second coming on a left-footed cross to Funke cutting across the middle. Donegan later scored on a penalty kick.

Fullerton (4-11-0, 4-5-0) recorded its only goal when Amber Duarte scored her conference-leading 25th goal of the season with 10 seconds remaining to spoil Pirate goalkeeper Kim Rudloff’s bid for a shutout. Rudloff leads the conference with seven shutouts.
