Paraclete 57, Desert 8--The Spirits (7-3, 5-0) clinched the league championship with a dominating victory at Antelope Valley College.

Desert’s record fell to 0-9, 0-5.

MISSION

Chaminade 45, St. Francis 37--Keith Mait completed 12 of 24 passes for 270 yards and four touchdowns for the Eagles (4-5-1, 2-3). Mait also scored on an eight-yard run.

Chaminade’s Brett Reynolds had seven receptions for 136 yards, including touchdown catches of 39 and 21 yards.

Mait connected with Scott Carper for a 26-yard touchdown and hit Wilson Del Pizzo on a 62-yarder.

Steven Hoo of Chaminade carried 35 times for 215 yards and a touchdown run of 28 yards.

Robert Milton of St. Francis (7-3, 3-2) rushed 18 times for 126 yards, including an 18-yard touchdown.
