Chicano Poet Society Tops ‘Popcorn’ Bill

The Chicano Poet Society will be featured at 8 tonight at the San Clemente Popcorn Reviews.
Carlos De Rosas, a spokesman for the society, said the group of college students uses drama and comedy to promote three ideals in its presentations: higher education, cultural awareness and community involvement.
The free Popcorn Reviews have been held for nearly two decades in the home of Howard and Betty Tangler.
