‘Walk for Technology’ Seeks to Raise $40,000

The Los Alamitos Education Foundation and the Los Alamitos Unified School District will hold a “Walk for Technology” walkathon at 11 a.m. today to raise money for computer equipment.
A technology fair will follow from noon to 3 p.m.
The foundation hopes to raise $40,000 at the event. Proceeds will go toward installing 300 computers in classrooms, expanding Internet access and establishing media centers.
The event will be at Los Alamitos High School, 3591 Cerritos Ave.
