Soap opera fans have the chance to bowl with their favorite stars today at the Kiwanis Club celebrity bowling tournament to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club and other charities.
Among the famous bowlers expected are Brent Jasmer, who portrays Sly on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and Anthony Pena, who stars as Miguel Rodrigues on “The Young and the Restless.”
Non-soap television stars, including Stella Stevens, are also signed up to play.
The tournament will be from 1 to 5 p.m. at Sequoia Bowling Lanes and Conference Center at Beach Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue.
General admission is $3, but anyone who wants to bowl with the celebrities must donate $50. The higher donation also entitles the bowler to lunch with the stars from noon to 1 p.m. at the club.
