Election Day Dinner Pairs Pasta and Polls
- Share via
An election day spaghetti dinner, open to the public, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Cypress Senior Center, 9031 Grindlay St. The cost is $4 a person.
“This is the perfect way to dine on election day,” said Shelley Hellen, a spokeswoman for the Cypress Recreation and Park District, which is co-sponsoring the event. “It can be a real hassle to juggle responsibilities, eat dinner and vote too.”
The dinner is open to people of all ages, Hellen said. Proceeds will benefit senior programs in the city.
The other co-sponsors are the California Council of Art Leagues, Columbia West Anaheim Medical Center Senior Friends and Cigna Health Care for Seniors.
