Titans Sign Fullerton High Pitcher

Fullerton pitcher Mike Garner, who finished the regular season with the county’s lowest earned-run average (0.37), has signed with Cal State Fullerton, Fullerton Coach Marty Berson said.
Garner is 9-1 with a county-best 116 strikeouts in 74 2/3 innings. He also batted .494 and led Fullerton (19-5-1) to the Freeway League championship.
Fullerton opens the Southern Section Division II playoffs Friday, playing host to La Verne Damien.

Cypress High shortstop Nate Endicott has signed a letter of intent with Long Beach State, Centurions Coach Mark Steinert said. Endicott, a first-team All-Empire League selection, hit .444 with one home run and 30 RBIs during the regular season.
