“U.S. Hired L.A. Firm Against Expert Advice, Papers Show” (April 28) failed to mention that in addition to writing a letter of support for the Cordoba Corp.’s bid to manage the Minority Business Development Agency’s regional facility, I also wrote a letter supporting Grant Thornton’s application. The purpose of both letters was to ensure that the U.S. Department of Commerce’s project would be located in downtown Los Angeles and provide vital assistance to small businesses in the Los Angeles region.
