If the smell of the greasepaint and roar of the crowd gets your pulse pounding, you may want to visit the Circus World Museum, which opens for the 1996 summer season this weekend in Baraboo, Wisc., about 35 miles north of Madison. The museum, a 50-acre facility on grounds that once served as winter site for the Ringling Bros. Circus, houses antique circus wagons, a library and research center. Summer season activities include concerts and performances under a traditional big top. Adult admission is $11.95 and the season runs through Sept. 8. Information: (608) 356-0800.
