Fair Housing Award to JM Development

An Inland Empire home builder, JM Development, has received the third annual Los Angeles Times Fair Housing Award in recognition of the inclusiveness of its advertising campaign for several of its new-home communities. The ad, created by Light & Associates, featured four children of different racial backgrounds against the backdrop of an American flag.
“The ad truly demonstrated to all prospective home buyers that these communities are open to all,” said Mary Irving, executive director of the Fair Housing Council of San Bernardino County.
The award is an outgrowth of the Fair Housing Advertising Task Force, a coalition of government agencies, nonprofit fair housing councils, the building industry, advertising agencies and newspapers throughout Southern California.
