Obituaries : Marion Frances Roff; Artist From Santa Paula

Marion Frances Roff, an artist who lived in Santa Paula, died Thursday after a lengthy illness. She was 81.
Born in New York City, Roff was a graduate of Northfield Preparatory School in Northfield, Mass. She lived most of her adult life in Whittier and moved to Santa Paula about 10 years ago. She was married to Jack Roff, who preceded her in death, for 53 years.
A devoted mother, Roff was also a talented artist. Her paintings were entered in contests at the County Museum of Art in San Bernardino, the Riverside Art and Cultural Center, the Laguna Art Gallery and many other museums and galleries. Roff was a member of Women Painters of the West.
She is survived by daughters Patricia Rose Muro and Nancy Broughton, both of Camarillo, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo.
