Corey Smith, a senior guard, has played a key role on the San Dimas boys’ basketball team, which is tied for first place in the Valle Vista League and has a 20-1 overall record. Smith, who has a 3.5 grade-point average, scored 12 points in the third quarter and finished with a game-high 23 to lead the Saints’ 63-52 victory over Northview on Monday.
