Colorbus Merges With European Distributor

IRVINE — Colorbus Inc. said it has agreed to merge with Imagix International, an Amsterdam-based distributor of computer products in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Imagix is the exclusive overseas distributor of Colorbus’ only product, a high-powered computer workstation used by advertising agencies and other customers to design and print color documents.
The merger enables Colorbus, a privately held company based in Irvine, to expand its market reach in Europe and emerging electronics markets, Chief Executive Paul Peffer said.
