PREP ROUNDUP : Fountain Valley Comes Through to Defeat Los Alamitos, 3-1

Dan Keller gave up one run, five hits and struck out five, helping No. 1 Fountain Valley to a 3-1 victory over Los Alamitos in Sunset League baseball Saturday.
The victory clinches at least a tie for the league title, the Barons’ third consecutive and fifth in the last seven years. Keller is 5-0.
Craig Ritter broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning with his first home run of the season for Fountain Valley (19-3-1, 11-2).
In the Loara tournament:
Marina 2, Lakewood 1 (8)--David Titov’s two-out single scored Mike Tyler with the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning for No. 3 Marina (19-5) in a consolation game.
Bryan Pawly gave up one earned run, two hits and struck out seven in six innings for the Vikings.
In the Newport Elks tournament:
Capistrano Valley 4, Mission Viejo 2--Johnney DiCorpo’s three-run homer highlighted a four-run second inning for host Capistrano Valley (13-10) in the consolation final.
Pat Versluis (2-0), who took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, limited Mission Viejo to one hit.
