Renaming Freeway
I’m opposed to renaming the Simi Valley Freeway for Ronald Reagan. The tradition in the greater L.A. area is to name freeways for places served by them (Hollywood, Santa Ana, the Harbor, the Foothill, etc.), not people.
I wouldn’t be surprised, however, at the whole issue being moot since so many already refer to the route in question as “the 118.”
