Central : TUSTIN : Suggestions Sought for Name of School
- Share via
This is one name-calling event that people can enjoy.
The Tustin Unified School District wants the public to submit names for the first elementary school in Tustin Ranch. The school at Robinson and Keller streets will open in the fall of 1995.
Suggested names may include a street name, a tree, an event, a housing development, the school’s location, something that reflects the state’s Spanish influence or that has a scholastic reference. The names of persons are acceptable if the nominee is dead and had been someone with an education, public service or humanitarian background.
A typewritten justification, not to exceed two pages, must be submitted with the nomination. The deadline is Jan. 13. Send entries to the superintendent’s office, 300 S. C St., Tustin, Calif. 92680. For more information, call (714) 730-7305.
