SIMI VALLEY : Youths Sought for Employment Board
- Share via
Simi Valley needs 12 teen-agers to serve on the city’s Youth Employment Service Advisory Board.
The board advises the City Council on youth employment issues, promotes youth hiring and helps prepare young men and women for the job market. Each year the board hosts interview skill workshops and a Job and Career Fair.
To qualify, applicants should be affiliated with the school district, a high school, local business, Youth Council, government agency or the Simi Valley community at large. Applications are due by Nov. 15. For more information and application forms, call the Youth Employment Service at 522-HIRE.
