World IN BRIEF : RWANDA : 4,000 Bodies Found by U.N. in Southwest

Peacekeepers in the southwest found the badly decomposed bodies of 4,000 massacre victims at the scene of one of the worst atrocities in the country, a U.N. official said. At least 2,000 of the bodies were unburied, while the rest were found in a mass grave at Gafunzo, near the shores of Lake Kivu, said Maj. Jean-Guy Plante, a U.N. military spokesman.
