OUTLOOK
Magnolia football fans have not had much to celebrate during this decade. The Sentinels are 3-26-1 since 1991, including 2-12-1 in league play. Although Friedrich isn’t making plans to celebrate a league championship, he believes the program is making strides. If nothing else, the Sentinels should be physically stronger than last season because many players worked hard during the off-season, Friedrich said. Rios (6 feet 1, 270 pounds) is expected to anchor the offensive line.
