Wackerman, Ruiz Chosen All-Americans

Willie Ruiz and Rachel Wackerman of Cal Lutheran have been selected to the National Soccer Coaches Assn. of America Division III All-American teams.
Ruiz, a midfielder from Simi Valley, made the Senior College Division III Men’s All-American second team. Wackerman, a forward from Pasadena, made the Senior College Division III Women’s All-American third team.
High School Volleyball
Eric Dick has been named boys’ volleyball coach at Chaminade High. Dick, 27, played for the Cal State Northridge men’s team before graduating in 1989.
High School Water Polo
Andy Bruininga, a senior driver for Royal High, has been selected player of the year for the All-Ventura County high school water polo team. Steve Snyder of Royal was selected coach of the year.
Baseball
