San Diego State Women Defeat Loyola

Falsha Wright scored 20 points to lead the San Diego State women’s basketball team to a 60-49 victory over Loyola Marymount in the Lions’ home opener Wednesday night.
The score was tied, 47-47, with 4 minutes 15 seconds left, but the Aztecs (2-1) outscored the Lions, 13-2, down the stretch, including final nine points.
Sheri Brown led Loyola (1-2) with 10.
The Lions play host to Long Beach State at 5:15 p.m. Saturday.
