Dismissed Staffers From Galanter’s Office
- Share via
It was with sad satisfaction that I read Linda Lucks’ comments in the recent story about the shake-up in Ruth Galanter’s office (“Aide Fired for Barb at Mayor,” Westside, Aug. 8). Linda has finally realized that Councilwoman Galanter has become out of touch with her constituents. Linda Lucks, Jim Bickhart, et al were dismissed after years of service to Galanter, denying that Galanter was wrong and saying that community leaders such as myself were the problem.
My satisfaction comes from being right, again. My sadness comes from Linda not getting it.
She talks of running for the council seat and yet she was an apologist for the policies that she now claims to oppose.
It is truly sad how low an opinion of the voters these people seem to have.
